Our Services

Acne Program

We aim to provide medical care and treatments specifically targeting Acne Vulgaris at various stages. We provide MD consultation for diagnosis, skin health counselling, medical pharmacological initiation and management including Isotretinoin, and restorative skin treatments to address Acne Vulgaris complications such as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and scarring. Our goal is to provide timely access to acne management to limit the negative impact of its complications.

Skin Lesion Removal

An initial consultation will assess the nature of the lesion and determine the most suitable removal method for cosmetic purposes. We utilize electrosurgery, cryotherapy, shave, and elliptical excisions to remove various benign skin lesions. We also provide keloid and hypertrophic scar corticosteroid injections. In selected cases, treatment or removal can be performed on the same day as the initial consultation. OHIP does not insure the cost of benign skin lesion removal.

Our goal is to ensure minimal scarring and optimal cosmetic results while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. If a procedure is deemed high-risk and beyond primary care's scope of practice, we will refer to a surgical specialist if necessary. Some examples include elliptical excision of lesions on the face and neck, large lipomas, and lesions with complex surrounding structures or anatomical distortion.

Melasma and Hyperpigmentation

Specialized treatments are designed to reduce dark patches and even out skin tone. Utilizing a combination of topical therapies, laser treatments, and oral medications, the goal is to lighten hyperpigmented areas safely. The focus is on restoring a more uniform complexion while preventing further pigmentation issues.

Rosacea

Comprehensive care includes targeted therapies to manage redness, inflammation, and visible blood vessels. Customized treatment plans may employ topical treatments, oral medications, and IPL. The objective is to reduce flare-ups and maintain a balanced, calm skin appearance, improving overall skin health and comfort.

Restorative Skin Procedures

We focus on providing evidence-based, physician-approved restorative procedures and treatments for aesthetic skin concerns and rejuvenation. Our treatment modalities include Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy, Non-ablative Fractional Laser Resurfacing, Radiofrequency Micro-needling, and Mesotherapy. Our facility provides Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for hair loss, scarring, and photoaging. Consultations for restorative skin procedures are uninsured services; no referral is needed. Consult fees may be applied to the treatment cost.
