About Terra Skin Clinic: Our Story

Terra Skin Clinic was established in 2023 by Dr. Zhi Lynn Fong to meet the growing demand for evidence-based dermatological care through a thoughtful integration of restorative aesthetic medicine and physician expertise. By merging medical knowledge with aesthetic practices, we offer a comprehensive, medically informed perspective on skincare and aesthetic treatments, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction at every step.

Zhi Lynn Fong MD CCFP DipPDerm(UK)

Dr. Zhi Lynn Fong is a board-certified family physician with a specialized focus on skin disorders, minor procedures and restorative aesthetic medicine. After completing her medical education at Dalhousie University and a family medicine residency at Memorial University, Dr. Fong encountered a significant need for dermatological care during her practice in Newfoundland and Labrador. This experience ignited her determination to seek specialized training in dermatology, earning a Diploma in Practical Dermatology with Distinction from Cardiff University, Wales (UK), followed by further training in dermoscopy shortly after.

Her commitment to continuous learning extends to her pursuit of a Master of Clinical Science in Family Medicine at Western University. She is a lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. As part of her affiliation with the Markham Family Medicine Teaching Unit, she actively advocates for postgraduate trainees training in skin disorders, dermoscopy, minor skin surgeries and other minor procedures.

Dr. Fong strives to offer a unique approach that combines her knowledge and interest in skin medicine, patient education, and aesthetics to deliver individualized care that prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction to achieve the optimal outcomes for all her patients.

Jessica Wong MD CCFP

Dr. Jessica Wong is a board certified family physician with a special interest in aesthetics medicine. She is a lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and a member of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine (CAAM). By integrating her passion in skin health, medical education and health equity, She wants to help individuals of all skin types to achieve healthy skin.
